Nate's First day of School!

Nate went to his first day of Kindergarten today. Last night he picked what he wanted to wear today, and we laid it out, so he could dress himself when he got up. At 6:05 am he came into our room, dressed and really excited to go to school. I got him to snuggle with me for a little while before I was told I needed to get up and ready to take him to school.

We all got dressed and Dad said goodbye after he said a wonderful prayer for Nate. Nate gave his dad a great big hug, and told him to have a good day with his workers...lol.

We went down and got breakfast for the kids. Nate said a cute prayer for the food, he also payed that he would make friends, that his teacher would teach him good stuff, and that he would have a good day.

At 8:35 we gathered the kids, and Steph, and got in the car to fight traffic going to the 2 elementary schools that are back to back with each other.

Steph stayed in the car with Miley and Sydney, and I got to see my boy off to Kindergarten. I did get a little emotional, but I didn't let it go. It was just so cool to see him so happy, excited, and ready to go.

We waited in the play area with our kids....this being the only day that we could come into the play area...
and then when the bell rang we took our kids over to the stars with their room number on them, and they explained what time we could pick up our little ones. Nate was holding his hands over his eyes like glasses because it was so bright. He was so excited.

We got to come into the class room with them and we got a gift from the teacher. It was a paper bag with a cotton ball, a tissue, and some tea. It was all to help comfort us parents.

Then we said goodbye and left feeling many different emotions.
Well we decided as the girls to go down to the mall and have fun as just girls.
We hung out at the Disney store for quite a long time....and had to much fun.

See we played dress up, I got some great deals for Christmas stuff for the kids, and we had so much fun that we lost track of time. Luckily I did look at my watch just in time to see we needed to leave so we wouldn't be late to pick up Nate.

When we got to the school he was one of the last like 10 kids still waiting for his mommy, oops. But he was so happy and told me he had a great time at school. He got to work on his numbers, the got a tour of the the school and got to see the library and where the nurse is, he got to play outside, and he got to even hang up his backpack, at least that what he told me when I asked what he had done today. He said he can't wait to go again tomorrow. So day one was a success. Yay! We are so Happy!

Meet and Greet Nate's Teacher

Today we got to go to the schools open house and Meet and Greet Nate's Kindergarten Teacher, Miss Pregrande.
She is new this year so I am hoping she will have lots of energy and ambition, Nate is a hand full at times. While we were at the school we saw several other kids from church, that will be in his class, which made me happy, and I'm sure he'll like it too. He also saw the Caceres's there, all of Nate's girlfriends, almost.

He is so cute with them. They are just the funnest, cuties girls and family.
So Monday will be Nate's first day of School...I'm so excited, a little nervous, but mostly really happy for him. What a big step in his life and ours!

Our last 2 Cooking Class

In cooking class last week we went over to Heather Bell's house. She taught the kids how to make monkey bread, and some smoothies. It was all really good and the kids had a great time. Miley loved being able to climb the chair, my little monkey.

Here is Evey, Nate, Hailey, Micky, Mandy, and Spencer. Ang wasn't able to come.

Here are the kids enjoying there smoothies, while the bread cooked.

Then today at cooking class, which was are last class :( Bernetta went all out and had chef hats and aprons for the kids, she had books so they could take the recipes and pictures of the kids and make a cookbook. We make suckers, then the kids put their books together, then we made shis-kabobs for dinner.

Nate wasn't much help, he wanted to play more than anything today, so I made our bobs, and did his cooking book and he played. Oh well, I had a great time.

Then since Ang didn't show up, we tried to take her stuff to her house, but no one was home. So I need a picture of Ang to photo shop into this picture.
Here is Nate once we were home in his chef hat, and apron with our bobs, and then some pictures of his cute cookbook too. We'll miss the fun times in cooking class. We are sure glad that we got to do this with such great kids and their amazing moms. Thank You All.

Here is Nate working on his numbers, he works on his letters, numbers, or cutting, shapes, and other things everyday. He is doing such a good job. I can't believe he will be starting school on Monday.

Our kids, Miley's new teeth, and More.

Miley love getting on daddy when ever he is on the ground. She loves to ride him, bounce on him and play with him. Of course then Nate has to try and do the same things on Dad, which because he is so much heavier, he usually hurts Jared or squishes him, and Jared loves that.

We were cleaning up Nate's room the other day, and I was going through Nate's pants when I found Miley had climbed into the drawer and was thinking she was funny, she is pretty funny. You can't see it very well, but she is standing in it in the picture.

Nate took this picture. Miley now knows how to turn on the printer, it's such a pain when I am trying to print something.

Here is her 2 new teeth, she is now up to 4 teeth in total. I know that is crazy, she is almost 15 months old and she only had 4 teeth. It is so hard to feed her.
She is so sad because I was trying to get a picture of her teeth instead of giving her her bottle. I did get her to smile and be happy for a min after the big sad face. Miley has also learned how to sign a few things. She can say please, more, food, all done, milk, but she uses Please the most and expects that I should know what she wants when she is saying it. She is so cute.

Monday and Tuesday....no more!

Miley actually is getting better with men....that is men that she sees more often. She went and saw Grandpa and sat on his lap all on her own this visit. It was so wonderful to see her do that, thanks Grandpa for being so patient with her and letting her come to you. Mom took Nate to the movies. They went and saw "Monsters vs Aliens," at the dollar movie. Nate really liked it. Monday night we got to have a family dinner.

We grilled chicken on the grill and zucinni and corn on the cob. It was all so yummy. Mily also enjoyed chasing Dad around and making Grandma hold her.

Tuesday Grandma and Grandpa Deming came over to the house to say goodbye. It was so good to see them. Cami and the kids also came over.

The other crazy, or I should say GROSS, thing that happened, while Mom was gone to the bank, Sophie and Miley went up stairs and then like a min later they came back down. Well Marino, Sydney's dog, came down first, then the girls. Cami and I noticed a strong, poopy smell as they came down. So we of course both checked our girls for a dirty diaper, and they where both clean. But we kept smelling it. So I checked again, and nothing. Well Cami said she had smelled the smell when Reno went past her. So I went up to mom and dad's room to make sure Reno hadn't had an accident. AND...
Sure enough he had. Then I notice that Miley, who was in my arms, had something on her fingers. It was dog poop....Gross. And she had had her fingers in her mouth moments before I noticed. So I took Miley into the bathroom and cleaned her up, which I found it was on both of her hands and under her fingernails. I had to clip them to get it all out. Cami, being the sweetheart that she is in the meantime cleaned the poop on mom and dad's floor. It was such a mess. Then we found it on Sophie's shoe later...luckily she hadn't gotten into it more than that. Fun, fun, fun....YUCK!

We did have fun on our trip. I was hoping to see my family, but it didn't happen. Thanks Mom and Dad for all your help in making this a great vacation.

I don't know why but Reno loves licking Cami's face....
