Well to start this post off I am going to apologize, for the non-stop pictures. I know there are alot, but there was so many I liked, and I just had to have these ones. So sorry...:).
As you can see we went out to the park and played some while Mom was here. She had gotten Nate an airplane and a parachute man to play with. It was a little windy for the airplane but we still had fun trying to get it to fly, especially the boys. Mom on the other had kept bombarding me with the parachute guy while I was taking pictures. I had to keep on my toes so I could duck at a moments notice.

After a while Nate couldn't ignore the beckoning call of the playground area. He absolutely loves parks and to play in the sand at the beach. Of course every kid he meets he instantly assumes they are his best friends and that they want to play with him, so parks can be a challenge too at times. He is very social, don't know who he got that from...hehe.

On Sunday we were bad and instead of going to Stake Conference, we took a trip up to the beach at Rio Del Mar, which is south of Santa Cruz. It was cold at first but then it cleared up for a while and we enjoyed chilling our feet in the ocean as we looked for sea shells.

Nate and I made a sand castle, wow I didn't know it was so hard to make a sand castle while you were pregnant, but let me tell you it wiped me out. After mom came back from a long walk collecting shells we packed up and went home.
Monday we once again traveled up to Santa Cruz area so we could do the Boardwalk experence in Cali. We have walked around the boardwalk before, we've just never done the rides. Nate, Grandma, and Dad went on a bunch and had a good time.
I went on the only ride I could go on with Nate and it was fun. As we went around on the merry go round Nate was telling me a knock knock joke. It goes, "Knock, knock. Who's there. Ya. Ya who. Is that you there cowboy?" And then we would laugh and try and make our horses go faster.

Tuesday we just hung out at the house for the most part and then on Wednesday we took Grandma to the airport and said goodbye. We hate saying goodbye, but it was wonderful to have mom out and we all had a wonderful time.
