Nate's First Lost Tooth.

This morning Nate came into our room and told us that his front bottom tooth was loose. I was a little worried at first. Have we really hit that stage in our lives, where our cute little boy is loosing his teeth. Well it seems we have, by late afternoon, I checked his tooth again and it was just barely hanging on. So I had to grab a tissue and pull it out the rest of the way. It made me a little squeamish, but Jared said he couldn't help me at all. He didn't even want to look at the loose tooth. Well here it is....Nate's little tooth.

He was so excited to put it under his pillow so that the Tooth Fairy would come and leave him a coin.

I went in one last time before he was asleep and he informed me that the Tooth Fairy had not come yet, even though he slept for a little bit. I had to tell him that he has to be a sleep for a while before she would come and that if he would just go to sleep and not check till the morning all would be good and she would come. I'm pretty sure he fell asleep soon after. He is such a sweetheart. Well we'll see what happens in the morning.

Miley's first attempts to crawl

Miley decided, after seeing Sophie get around all weekend, that she should trying crawling out. It is so fun to watch her. If she really wants something now she'll go get it. I guess it's now time to start baby proofing the house.

Sunday and Monday with the Scott's

Sunday, Feb 23, we all went to church, the kids did really well. I had made pot roast Saturday, but we decided to go to In & Out Burger instead so I meant to plug it in Sunday morning so while we were in Church it could reheat. Well at the end of Relief Society in the ending prayer it dawned on me that I had turned it on, but had forgotten to plug it in....oops. So instead of having food ready when we got home I plugged it in for dinner and we made Carne Asada fajitas. They were really good. We cook uncooked tortillas, and put peppers in with the meat after we grill the meat. It is so good. While we made lunch we watched Madagascar 2. It is really a great movie, just as good as the first one, really funny and cute. Although Jonny didn't like the shark part. Then Miley took a nap.
The rest of us went up stairs and watched all of the pictures we had taken as a slide show on our xbox. It was cool. Poor Cami was trying to get Jonny to take a nap, but he was so tired he was fighting it.

So after a while Cami went downstairs to get Jonny to sleep. Nate wrestled with Boey some, while Sophie crawled around Jared.

Nate also tried to wrestle his dad, but couldn't get out of dad's leg hug.

So I had a piece of licorice and after this picture Sophie grabbed it from me. She loved it right away.

She was doing a good job at eating it too. Then I noticed the mess she was making. She was getting pink drool all over herself and all over Jared's pants, so sadly I took it way from her. She had finished off about a third of what I gave her.

Sophie and I played for a while while the boy played Halo. Then Miley joined us, she was still a little grumpy as you can see in most of the pictures. She has such expressive faces.

Even though she was grumpy Sophie still wanted to hang out with her and to play with her. The kids really had fun together.
At dinner time we had the pot roast which was unfortunately dry and over cooked but everyone still ate it and didn't complain...they were so nice to me. We played some of the Wii fit games and had fun. Then later when the kids went to bed we Rocked out again.
In the morning Jared had to go to work and so did Boey. He work up in our computer area. I made eggs and pancakes for everyone. The kids really ate good. The kids played during the day some inside and some times in the back yard.

Cami packed on and off while Boey was working. We had such a good time. I sort of wanted them to have to stay one more night, but alas there was plenty of seats open for the night flight home.

Sophie saw the boys wrestling over and over so she thought she would attack Jonny.

All the kids really liked playing with the ball slide.

Here is Sophie kissing her reflection in the TV, it was so cute.

More wrestling.

Nate took this picture for me, what cute kids.
Just before Jared got home Boey came down and read the kids a story. They all really enjoyed themselves. When Jared got home we packed up the car, hugged and said good bye and he took our friends too the airplane. It was sad to see them go, we had such a great time. Thank you so much for coming and staying with us. We love you all.

Vegas is more then just the Strip!

Saturday morning we ate breakfast and got Miley down for a nap. Once she was up we got her adjusted to the pack Cami and Boey brought for us to use for her. She liked it right away.
Then we got ready to go hiking down at Red Rock Canyon the National Conservation Area. We went on the Calico Tanks path. It was beautiful. It started out pretty easy and got tougher, but it was still manageable with our two boys, we just had to help them along the way.

The weather once again was just perfect for us. The hike was 2.5 miles one way and was suppose to take us 2 hours. Well that is with no little kids we decided. We started the hike at 11:00 am and finishes around 4. It was worth every min though. And all 4 kids did so good. Miley even took a nap in the pack for some of the time.

Here are the 2 boys climbing on some rocks durring one of our water breaks.

Here is the easy part of the trail.

Boey and Sophie in the pack, cheesing for a picture.

Jonny and Cami.

Here is us in the wash area, it was so pretty. A rock took this picture for us.

I know I have a lot of pictures but it was so amazing that I couldn't narrow it down any more.

Jared and Miley.

Jonny

Here is another area we stopped to munch and drink some water.

Cami with attitude....

Here is our Nate'o, he was a mountain goat.

Me and Miley-moo

Nate and Jonny eating their sandwiches.

So Strong.

Here is the lake we were hiking to see, but if you hike just a little further you get to see all of the Las Vegas valley...so we hiked.

It was a gorgeous view.

Cami and Sophie.

Boey and Jonny.

Here is all of us on top of the mountain.

Heading back down, I got to test out the pack on the way back down. It was fun to have her on my back and she was so cute.

How Cute!

Me and my kids.

Almost back to the parking lot.

Once we were down we still had a 30 min drive to get out of the park, its only a one way road. Poor Jonny gets car sick and the windy roads didn't help him or the boys. They drove with the windows down so he would throw up, which in turn made them all freeze.

We got some In & Out Burgers and fries for dinner, and a Taco Bell Burritos for the boys.

After bath time we got the kids in bed and they all slept really well.

Night night girls.

That night we had some more fun playing rock band, and hanging out. This was the best Saturday yet. Thanks again guys.
