New Years Eve!

Wednesday, New Years Eve!

New Years Eve Day the kids had a great time with Grandma playing with play dough. Miley just watched but she still had fun. Nate and Sephy used cookie cutters and rolling pins to create fake cookies to eat or snow men or snakes.

Jared, Chris and I played so of the Campaign for Halo on Legendary the hardest setting. It was fun to hang out with Chris and my Hubby.

Our kids had a good time too.

Then we headed over to Julie and Sean's (my aunt and uncle) house for a New Year's Eve Party. Almost everyone from my moms side of the family came. It was awesome to be around everyone. We had a wonderful dinner of may different types of Mexican style food....sort of like the food you would get at Cafe Rio. It was so good. I still need the recipes from Julie. After eating dinner some of us played Guitar Hero World Tour, while others of us played mini basketball or Foosball, some of us just chatted. Then a large amount of us played Nert's a card game that is very fast pace and fun. I use to be the best at it, or at least in the top two...well I now see that I am growing slower and loosing my eye sight. I couldn't keep up with the younger kids like I use to. How sad. Julie got the ping pong table out too, which Nate tried to play with whom ever was playing at the time....I felt sort of bad for them, trying to hit a small ball instead of a small boys head is quite a hard task especially when he is running from one end of the table to the other. He was having a Blast. Jared was such a sweetheart as usual. He took care of Miley a lot of the time. I love seeing them together, it melts my heart. Time passed so fast and before we knew it was time to get our hats on and get our streamers and noise makers. A new Year, Last Year was so amazing and I gained and learned so much. I am grateful for it and for my family. I have so much. I am truly Blessed.

Christmas at the Smart's.

Tuesday-Friday

After eating with my Grandparents at Wingers we headed over to my Mom's for Christmas. Everyone was waiting for us to get there so they could all open there presents. Mom wanted us all there as a family to have Christmas. So my step siblings hadn't had Christmas yet. We waited till my 2 brothers got there around 6 to open gifts. I had to go to the doctors for Miley. The poor girl had had diarrhea for 3 days and her little butt was looking bad. The doctor said she had some virus and that it would get better in the next few days. He told me to get her some Butt Paste and keep her butt dry as much as possible.

After opening up our gifts most of the kids left. Chris and Chris stayed and mom, Cordell (my Step Dad), and Neal (because he lives there). We played so Halo. It was Mom and Big Chris's first time playing Halo. I think they had a good time. It was good to chat with everyone and to hang out with them.

Our Family is big on playing on the Computer, Xbox, or on the Wii. So here are some pictures to show you...

Jared, Miley and I shared a room, while Nate and Sephy slept in Russels room. We had a great time. Thanks again Mom and Dad. We love you.

Tuesday

It was so nice to stay at my grandparents house. Nate and Miley got to use Amanda's room because she was home for Christmas. Amanda, my cousin, is living with my grandparents while she attends USU. When Nate awoke up Monday morning after sleeping in Amanda's bed he said, "It was so nice to sleep in a girls room for once. And Miley really liked it too." He is so funny.

Nate enjoyed putting his new puzzle together with his Great Grandma. It was huge.

Miley loved having her Great Grandma around too. I'm so glad they finally got to meet. We all went out to eat at Winger's, one of my favorite restaurants. Then hadn't ever been there but I believe they enjoyed the food there. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for everything you did for us and all the love you show us.
