Our Family Christmas, and Nates School Christmas Program.

We had a great Christmas together as a family. Yes we already opened our presents.

Since we are leaving to go home for Christmas time and have no room to bring all of the kids and our presents with us, we opened our gifts last Saturday and made a day of it. It was so much fun and the kids were so cute. We were really blessed and everyone got things they wanted and some things they didn't suspect.

It was fun this year with the kids because they were both excited and we enjoyed watching them open each gift. Miley was so cute and would tear the wrapping paper off, but before she could tear off another piece she had to put the other on in a nice pile. Our No mess girl.

Jared did a great job shopping for me too.

Miley really liked her new couch. Now Nate can have his back. She has been borrowing his each day for the last 3 months or so.

Christmas time is so magical and fun, especially with little one's. I love to see how happy, excited, and how much fun the kids have. It makes us so happy.

Jared and I even got a DSi this year to share.

Miley's last gift...

A door, yes we bought her a door. It was suppose to be from Santa but we couldn't bring it up to Grandma and Grandpa's for Christmas morning so she got it now. And she loves it.

I've never seen a kid play with one thing for so long.

Here is Jared and Nate playing a Star Wars game on the xbox that dad got for Christmas.

Still loving her door. We had a great weekend with the kids and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a good Christmas time for us. The night before we went to the Ward Christmas party. Good times.

Nate had his School Christmas Program on Tuesday. Miley and I got to see it. Nate was so cute, and really had such a big smile on. They sang 5 songs. Well on the second to last song they sung Jingle bells. Nate grabbed his bell that was around his neck and it broke. He was so upset. The night before he was telling me that Jingle bells was his favorite song of the Program because he got to ring a bell...so it would have to be that his bell breaks. Well he cried all through that song and the last. It was so sad. I wanted to go and give him a big hug and a new bell so he could be happy and have fun...but I couldn't tell them to stop so Nate could get some help.

After they were done singing I gave him a big hug and told him I could hot glue his bell back together. I calmed down and then we had some fun eating cookies and hot chocolate.

Nate and some of his friends in his class. Miley loved her cookie.

Then Nate showed me all the cute art work he had done.

And he wanted a picture with his teacher. She is a good teacher.

It was so much fun to be able to go to Nate's Program and to see how much my little boy is growing. He is a good boy and we love him so much.

Putting up the Treeeee!

We set up the Christmas tree this last Tuesday with the kids. Nate and I got the tree out and he helped me put it together and then him and Miley helped me put the lights on it. Then after dinner Daddy, the kids, and I decorated the 'Tree'. We had a blast doing it. The kids were so excited and into it. Miley kept yelling Treeeeeeee, and then smiling big, or lifting her arms up real big. It was super cute. It always makes me so happy to put up the tree and doing it with my little family is just the BEST!

Here is a little clip of Miley after the tree is all done. We are all excited for Christmas.

Thanksgiving 2009

Before we drove home for Thanksgiving break we had some fun with each other and some great friends. We were able to go on a double date to New Moon with the Spears, it was so much fun. I really enjoyed it, and it was so good to get out with Jared, and friends. We did have plans to go out to eat ofter the movie but Grace, their little girl, wasn't feeling good so we had to cut our date short.

We also got to watch a movie with the kids.

Then on Sunday we had the Cruz's over for dinner and some fun. Why is it that kids love to play with coasters...Nate and Miley love them, and apparently Sadie does too. She needed to hold all of them.

Finally Tuesday came and we packed up and when Jared got off from work we headed to his parents house, so we could celebrate my birthday with them on Wednesday. We made really good time and got there just a little after midnight.

The kids played with Grandma and Sydney for a bit before we all crawled into bed. Then Wednesday morning we hung out. Miley had a great time playing with Reno...she loves dogs, LOVES them.

I told the boys to smile and this is what I got, Nice Huh!

When everyone got to mom & dad's we went to Wingers to celebrate my birthday. The only bad thing was Megan hadn't been feeling good all day so Sydney took her to instacare to see what was wrong, they missed out on the fun.

Nate had a good time with the cross word puzzles and Miley enjoyed scribbling too.

We got two Asphalt Pie deserts and Nate and Miley almost eat both of them before anyone else could have some.

Back at the house I got to open some birthday gifts. I got Killer Bunnies (the card game...it's awesome), Clue (Harry Potter), Yentl the movie (which I have wanted for ever), Pride and Prejudice (the BBC movie that I have been told is awesome), some lotion and perfume from Bath & Body works, and expansion pack for Killer Bunnies. I also got some cards and money. Rock On.
Our Family!

Then we just hung out and had fun. Then Thursday we drove up to Cache Valley for Thanksgiving. (No Pictures of Thanksgiving so sad)

Here is our visit at my Grandma Gilden's.

Nate and Grandma had a good time fishing...while Miley wandered around exploring everywhere.

It was great seeing my Grandma, she is such a sweet lady and she loves us so much, I love her too.

We had a great visit together, with everyone we got to see. Thank you Hunny for the great trip, and thanks to everyone else that made our trip so amazing.
