Nate's Birthday!!! I can't believe he's 4.

Happy Birthday Nate.
Jan 26, 2008
This year we thought that we would have a birthday party for Nate
with his friends at Chucke Cheese. He had 2 girls Parker and
Breanne, and then 4 boys, Mack and Creed, who are brothers, Gavin,
and Caleb. There was plenty of pizza and drinks, and ton of games
to play, and Chucke Cheese even came and sang happy birthday to
Nate and watched him blow out his candles. All of the kids had a
great time. It was so awesome to see our little boy having such a
happy birthday.
Here is Nate's birthday cake. This was his second choice he really
wanted the Disney princess cake, but I talked him out of it. He loves
the new Ninja Turtles movie so this worked.

Nate need a little help blowing the candles out...Daddy to the rescue.
Mommy and Nate.
Opening his presents at Chucke Cheese...
Nate and Parker, "His girl friend, getting some love."
Nate and Dad at Chucke Cheese.
Jared and Nate before Church. Nate could hardly wait to get back
home to open all of his presents and to play with his mom and dad.
"Look at how spoiled I am!!! "
Thank you for all the great gifts.

Changes, big and small!

We are happy to announce that we are pregnant. I am due on May 21st, which means I am 23weeks along. We are going to have a little girl...or so we have been told after our last ultra sound. Nate is very excited to have a sister, I think its because he loves playing with girls and there princess like toys. :) We are doing well and I get to feel her kick everyday which is wonderful. I'm feeling pretty good, morning (or should I say all day) sickness is over for the most part. Now its heartburn. If its not one thing its another, right. Well we just thought we would share this news with you all. And I'll do better now that I feel better keeping up on our blog.

Christmas visit!

Santa Nate-o
Mom and Dad came out to see us the end of Nov and beginning of Dec. We had a great time with them shopping for Christmas gift, where they spoiled all of us, and then playing with Nate's cars and toys. Nate made dad into a bridge for his cars and he made mom silly and crazy, as you can see.

We had lunch at
the mall before they
headed home
and got some cute
pictures.

Here is Jared and dad.

And here is one
of
Mom, Nate, and me.

We played at the Park too.
Nate loves this park
because he acts like the
playground is a ship and he
is the Captain.
Grandma was a mermaid,
and I was his worker.
He has quit an imagination.

We love having visitors,
it helps keep our
spirits high!
So thanks to all of you who have
come out to see us.

A visit from Mom

Mom came out to visit!

We went to the Aquarium.
We met a friend while we were
eating lunch. He was cute
and fluffy and would take food
right out of our hands.
After awhile our little squire
was making my mom
uncomfortable because he was
a little to comfortable being
right next to us and begging
for food, plus Nate
was feeding his new pet
more than he himself was
eating.
The Squirrel wasn't the only
one begging for food.
We had several seagulls and
pigeons too....but they were easier to
scare away. Hehe
We also went to Chucky Cheese and played at the park. Jared was in San Francisco for a Sas class for his work, so it was nice to have mom here so we were not alone.

My Sweet Grandma

I love my Grandma Gilden. She is so kind and sweet and has always been there to help us and to show us such love and care. Nate loves her so much too. He has a special bond with her, she use to watch him once in a while when we lived next to her, and he always wanted to go over to see his great grandma. We really loved seeing her on our trip.

In earlier years, when we lived next door.

This is Nate on his 2 Halloween.
Here are some other pictures of my wonderful Grandma. This was last Christmas when we went over to her house and exchanged gifts and visited. I have so many wonderful

memories of visiting her and have always felt that she loved me. Here is Grandma with her sister Afton, when Afton came to visit from CA.

Then there is Karma, my Grandma's best friend and younger sister. They do everything together and they are always there for the each other. Two peas in a pod you might say.

I have many great memories with each of them, and wanted to say that I love them. Thanks again Grandma for all you do. I hope we have many more memories to come. Love you.

Russell and our Temple Trip

Logan Temple
August 28th
We went to the Logan temple to accumpany Russell. He was recieving his endowment. It was so wonderful being in there with our family and enjoying the joy and spirit inside the house of the Lord. Thats one of the great things about Utah, the accessiblitiy to go to the temple. Russell looked so good and happy, I'm so glad that we got to be there with him.

Here are some pictures of all of us after the sesion. Mom had already left for home so she could pick up the other kids and Nate, so they could go out to eat with us to celebrate too.
From left to right: Rena, Jared, Russell, Blake, Tina, Grandpa, Grandma, Julie and Sean.

We went to Olive Garden after to eat and celebrate. The kids, dad, Nate and Katie joined us to eat...Katie is Russells girlfriend.

Sunday Feast

Sunday we had a nice dutch oven dinner cooked
by the Boys.
Reno, Nate and Sydney playing with poppers.
The Twins...Megan & Mike

We had a wonderful time together Sunday before Labor Day eating and gabbing. All the family was over and Boey and Jonny came too while Cami had to work :(.

All the Deming guys sat and labored in the heat making us a wonderful meal with the dutch ovens. Well Dad supervised and the others did the cooking. :)

Boey played with the little boys, swinging them around, and teaching them how to tackle. Nate loved it when he would grab him by the ancles and swing him around and round.

The rest of us got the tables all up and set for dinner. When it was time to eat we all had a great time, the food was delicious and it was so nice to be all together.

All in all it was perfect. It gives you a small glimps of what heaven is truly going to be like, with our families, Forever. I know I'm a little cheese, but these are such special moments, that I live for.
