Fireworks on the 3rd of July!

Logan always has their Fireworks on the 3rd of July, so we got to hang out with my Grandma Gilden in the morning which was so wonderful, and then Jared went Golfing down in Brigham with Sean (my uncle) and Tyler (my cousin), Blake my other uncle was going to go but didn't end up going because of health issues. Jared had a great time and Sean spoiled him as usual, paying for everything but some tee's. (Thanks Sean) I got to hang out with my Grandma, while Miley took a nap and Nate played Lego Star Wars on the big screen downstairs. It was so nice to be able to talk to her out on the patio in the sun and enjoy the beauty of Cache Valley. Their back yard is to amazing and they have a pasture with trees and horses behind it too. I had a great time.

Everyone came over for Dinner that night before the Fireworks, we had Lasagna, salad (Cesar and jello), and garlic bread. Then my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins that were there walk up to the USU stadium for Fireworks. We decided not to go in because Miley doesn't like loud noises and we were afraid that she would cry in them.

We stayed with my Grandparent at there house and had the best cheep seats there were. Here are some of the beautiful flowers in front of their house.

We enjoyed listening to the show on the radio while we talked and did sparklers with Nate. I put Miley down to sleep at her normal time. She can watch Fireworks next year maybe.

Here is Grandpa standing proudly while they played the song for the Marines, her served our country in WW2 as a Marine.

Nate really liked the sparklers. He hasn't been around fireworks since before we moved away from Utah, 3 years ago.

When it was dark enough we got settled down to watch the Fireworks on the porch. They had some technical issues at first and somewhere down the street someone was lighting illegal firework so Nate kept thinking they were starting over and over. It kept us entertained for a while.

The show was great, it was so nice to watch a firework show and to be proud to be an American. We are so Blessed.

Here are some of my favorite moments.

Nate didn't make it threw all of the show. He ended up crashing on dads lap near the end.

So after it was all done I carried him down to his bed before everyone else got back home from the show for desert.

Grandma took these shots for us. The gang got back soon after. They said that they were getting all the ash from the fireworks blown back to where they were sitting. Blake even got one in his eye that burned it a little. Sounds like our seats were the Best.

Here is Dani, Shanne, Alexis, and Jaquelyn after they got back.

After everyone was back we went inside for Chocolate cake, and ice cream. Everyone said it was good, I wont touch the stuff, I hate Cake!

My brother Chris came over quick too. It was great to see him. I wish I could have seen my Mom, Step Dad, and niece too, but they were sick with the swine flu.
