Our kids playing Train Station.

Nate was taking Miley around the house the other day playing train conductor. Our bedroom was the train station. They were having so much fun together and giggling the whole time...I did have to stop Nate once, he was going to take the train down the stairs with Miley in it. That would have been just great.

I love how these two love to play with each other. It makes me so happy to see them together. Miley looks up to her brother and loves him so much.

They did this for a good half an hour. Then they both climbed into the basket.

The M&M Store and fun with the Girls!

Julie, Grace, Miley, and I went to the M&M store down town while our older kids were at school Wednesday morning. We had a great time. Julie is such a fun person to be around and Grace is as sweet as can be.

We parked at the MGM Grand hotel and walk over to the M&M store.

Once at the Store we looked around a little bit and then went to the free movie...

Walking into the movie you get to go threw an area where they show you how they make M&M's and you even get to act like you are an M&M. Miley really liked the area with the giant picture frame with Las Vegas behind it.

We got to see what an M&M needs to learn before they can go out in the world..

They have been in many famous movies too...
We also enjoyed looking at the Giant M&M's.
Here Grace posses for a couple of pictures...she is so cute, and so good to Miley.
The movie was in 3D and was really cute. Miley didn't watch much of it but she still had a good time. After Grace was so sweet and shared her M&M's with Miley and I. Miley really liked them. We were going to make home made Mac and Cheese when we got back to our house...well we did make it but unfortunately Julie and Grace had to leave before it was done cooking. We'll have to do that another time. Thanks again for the fun and coming up with such a fun activity Julie. It is always a pleasure to hang out with you.

Time with Mom and Dad.

The kids had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa while we were on our outing. They got to play in the park, they went on a wagon ride, they got to go feed the ducks and peacocks, they ate at Mac Donald's, play a ton of games, and watched some movies. Mom said that she forgot how hard it was to take care of 2 small children, especially getting them ready to go anywhere. They took the kids to Target to exchange some shoes mom got for Miley and said it took them forever to get Miley's seat belt even on, on top of getting everything ready to go. Friday night after they got the kids to bed finally they were both ready for bed themselves....this is like at around 8 to 8:30 pm. Both Nate and Miley had such a good time with their Grandparents, I'm sure they were both spoiled.
When we got home on Saturday night, after making it on a pray, due to almost running out of gas....seriously I think the last at least 7 miles till we got to the Costco gas station, we were running on our prayer and the Lord's help; we brought home Cafe Rio for everyone. The Pork salads are so good, if you've never tried one you need to.

I gave Nate my happy meal toy (a Scooby-Doo book), and we had gotten some great deals on clothes for Miley at The Children's Store....deal like shirts and shorts for $1.99, so I gave her those. We hung out and played Mario Party. Jared won...

Miley loves to be silly...and I love watching her to see what she is going to do.

Miley had a great time playing with Grandpa this week end too. She played with a lot of puzzles with him. We also played Disney Scene it, Nate won! It's a great game for kids too, because it has both adult question cards and kid's ones.

Playing domino's Sunday before mom and dad leave.
Watching football....Together!
We were all sad to see them go. It was so much fun hanging out together with you. Thanks again for everything.

Away from the Kids, Alone with Jared in St George.

So Jared's parents drove all the way down to our house to watch the kids so Jared and I could get away. We had such a good time. We went to St George, UT, Friday after Nate got home from school. But first mom and dad got to our house sometime after 10:00 am. When Miley and I went to the door to answer it, I opened the door and Miley looks at Grandma and gives her a look like, 'Why are you here?' It was so funny. She finally warmed up to her Grandparents and remembered who they were and then followed Grandma around everywhere. Nate on the other had, when Miley, Grandma, and I went to the school to pick him up, saw Grandma and ran over, bounced more like, and yelled GRANDMA. He gave her a big hug and then asked where Grandpa was. It was supper cute.

Well Jared and I went to the Temple first when we got to St George and did some sealings. It was so much fun. I love doing sealings, because for one it reminds me of the happy day when I married Jared and two I love helping others get seal, because it is such a blessing to be sealed to the one you love. After the Temple we went to the hotel and got checked in. Then we had plans to go to 'Love Happens,' a movie that just came out....it was really good too. We ate dinner at the movie theater...pretzels, popcorn, and nachos...yeah real healthy. We had such a great time on our date.

that kids could play in with a steam for wadding in and grass. I love grass, I miss grass. The area is called town center. Here are some of the pictures I took.

Me and Erastus Fairbanks Snow who was a missionary, founder of St George, and President of the cotton mission. See when the Saints came out to Utah, the civil war was going on after a while and the people couldn't get cotton so Brigham Young sent down a bunch of saints to St George so they could plant cotton, they actually did rather well with it too.

Me kissing a fox.

At the Tabernacle we went on a tour, it is so cool to see what the pioneers built and how beautiful it is.

This is where Lorenzo Snow gave his famous sermon, 'The Windows of Heaven."

After the tour we went over to the visitors center by the temple and wandered around. We got to hear about Christ's mission here, to see the temple and it's

beauty, we also got to see all the Book of Mormon's in all the languages it's been translated into...like Lithuanian, Jared actually helped translate on his mission the Book of Mormon into Lithuanian...cool huh!

Here he is checking out this book, he would have loved to have it when he was teaching the people on his mission. They had to use the Russian Book of Mormon and not everyone knew how to read Russian.

I really liked this painting. St.. George is such a pretty valley.
Here is Brigham Young's Winter home, yep he was the first snow bird in Utah.

This tree is as old at the house, so it was here when our 2 Prophet was walking around the grounds of his house. I thought that was so cool.

Her is a cotton plant like they grew when the first Saints went down there to settle the area. Jared looked like a Giant in the door ways of the area of the house that was first built, see Brigham built onto an existing house and this was the original part.

This was his bed and a picture of the Presidency of the church and the 12 apostles. After our tour we went up above the Dixie, painted on the hill top on the west side of town, and went hiking. It was beautiful up there and peaceful.

It did get hot after a while so we didn't wander to far, but we did get to see a great view of the valley below and the temple.

I love this Guy.

Even if he gets sick of me taking so many pictures.

The Dixie sign is right below us here.

Well before we left to go back home we also stopped at the outlet stores and got some christmas presents for the kids. I had such a great time out with Jared, I missed my cute little kids, but sometimes it's nice to me just his woman, and to be together. Thanks so much mom and dad for babysitting for us.
