Jared's 30th Birthday!

On Jared's actual birthday we went out to eat with his Grandma and Grandpa Deming. Then took us to Famous Dave's. We love the food there, ribs, brisket, great fries, awesome sauces. Yum! Nate is such a girl at times....he hates bugs, they really bug him. They bug him to the point where he can't concentrate on anything but the bug. So at the Restaurant we were sitting there eating when Nate sees a rather large fly buzzing around. "There's a bug Dad, Dad, can you get the bug, Watch out Dad there is a bug"....and it goes on, and on. Miley enjoyed sitting on a chair that was sandwiched between Jared's and mine, she also like coloring and dumping the crayons on the floor.

When we got home the kids and I, along with Cami and her kids and mom went out and played with the kids in the swimming pool. The water was a little cold. I tried to warm it up with several loads of hot water from the house, but Jonny was still shivering most of the time.

Jared was doing his job of technical support for his dad inside. After a while we took the kids inside and put all 4 of them in the tub with hot water to warm them up. They really liked it.

The girls really wanted Cami and Mom to hold them both. Where one of them was the other decided they needed to be there too.

While the boys hung out we made homemade macaroni and cheese and grilled hot dogs for dinner. It was really good. Mac and cheese is so good if it's not from a box.

After eating the boys played some T-ball.

Then Jared got to blow his 3 candles for 30 awesome years (wow I guess I was trying to show Jared how to blow out the candles, I look silly).

While we ate cake and ice cream Jared opened his presents.

He got a lot of really nice stuff, and it was so great to have everyone there.

It was great having Cami, the other member of our family, there with us too. To bad Boey was at Scout camp.

Jared had a wonderful birthday with his family. Thanks for everything you all did to make it a great one. Later that night, after the kids were in bed Jared and I got to go and see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It was awesome. I really wanted to see it again. Thank you Jared for being a wonderful Husband, Father, and my best Friend! We love you.

Our Family Party before the Trip & Jared's Birthday dinner with the family.

Tuesday night we had a little party for Jared to celebrate his birthday as a family before we left to go up to Utah for his actual birthday.
We had cupcakes and presents for Jared.

Nate had to help him with everything of course. He gets so excited.

Then on Wednesday after Jared was done with work we got on the road and drove up to his parents house. We didn't get there till 1 in the morning, but the kids did good so it wasn't to bad. Thursday we hung out with Mom and Megan. We went to the Taylorsville swimming pool. They had some really dumb rules but we had a lot of fun swimming with Megan, Mom, and the kids. We also went and saw Night at the Museum 2. Mom was able to get Miley to sleep which was wonderful. I actually got to see the movie. Thanks Mom.

Then we went out with the family for a Birthday dinner for Jared. We went to the Texas Roadhouse. It was so good. The kids were tired, but the food and company were excellent. Miley even helped herself to Grandma's salad, she even gave Grandma a couple of bites.

Nate was cold so he snuggled Grandpa most of the night and took over Miley's blanket.

Here is Sydney, Megan, and Nate.

Mike and Dani.

Me and Jared.

Miley played ring around the table and went from person to person to try and keep her happy. Thanks for the dinner, fun and help with the kids. We had a great day. At the end of the day we hung out on the back deck and talked with one another, or giggled.....you know what I mean if you know the Deming's.

Cooking class, Swimming, and 24th of July.

This week cooking class was at our house. I taught the kids how to make homemade pizza. First we made some little English muffin pizzas that we could eat for lunch later and then we started rolling out the dough. The kids did really good and I think they had a good time. They put on the toppings they wanted and after it was all done they got to eat their little pizzas and play out in the backyard. I think the kids enjoy the time they have together and hopefully they are learning how to cook some too.

Nate is getting better at swimming. Miley also enjoys hanging out with the kids.

Nate took this picture of me getting dinner ready on night.
We had a wonderful time celebrating the 24th of July with our Stake. They had a big celebration with food and some pioneer games. We got to hang out with some of our favorite people. The Cruz's let us share their blanket while Jared and Dave drove back home to get our camp chairs. Nate hung out with the Caceres's, his favorite family. They are 3 of the girls in his cooking class. He had a great time.
Here is Amber, Sadie, me and Miley.
On the right is Dave, Nate, and Jared. (Below) Dave, Eric, and Sage.

Here is just a picture of Jared and the kids playing on the Xbox together. They love playing with their Daddy.
