Sweet Grandma Bennett

It was so nice to have Grandma Bennett meet Miley for the first time and to talk to her and be around her warm and kind heart.

Seeing The Scotts

It was so good to see the Scott's while we were visiting mom and dad for Thanksgiving, and to finally meet Sophie and to see how much Jonny has grown. We had an amazing breakfast with you, thanks for making the french toast Cami. It was also good to see the Huff's, and congratulations again on being pregnant.

Cami, Jonny, and Boey....Sophie was asleep so unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of her, I'll have to do better during Christmas time to get one of her and the whole Scott family.

Also thanks for going to Twilight with us for my birthday, I had a great time and Wingers was wonderful too. It's always fun to see you guys and to hang out with you.

Thanksgiving Fun! Happy Birthday to me...

Wednesday Night we got to the Deming's around midnight. It was so good to see everyone. I couldn't believe that Grandma and Grandpa where still up, they never stay up late, but I guess seeing their grand kids gave them the boost they needed to stay awake. It was so good to see them. It was also nice to finally see all of the renovations that they had done on the kitchen, and 3 bathrooms. Wow it was almost like a new house. We all got to bed around 1:30a.m. In the morning we had a wonderful blueberry muffin bacon and eggs breakfast. Nate kept trying to give Megan more and more muffins. Sydney was a great help too, she was encouraging him to give her more, Megan didn't think it was so fun. Nate had a great time playing with Reno too, Sydney's dog.

We also finally got to meet Danielle, Mikes fiance. Dani is going to be a great addition to the family.

Nate loved playing the piano, he kept singing while he played. I hope he keeps this interest in singing and playing the piano, I would love to have him play.

After an amazing Thanksgiving meal, thanks again Mom, they had pie and then sang Happy Birthday to me and I got to open my presents. I got Harry Potter 2 and 3 on compact discs, Twilight on CD and the soundtrack for Twilight the movie, lots of money I can now use for Christmas gifts, some funny cards, and some gift cards. It was a wonderful birthday and it was so nice to be with family.

When it was dark we got our coats on and went outside for the turning on of the Christmas lights. The house looked so good. Mike and Dad did a great job. I can't wait to get some lights on our house as well. Looking at the lights always brings such joy and peace to my heart. I also love watching my 2 sweet kids as there eyes light up and the smiles come to their faces because there is these twinkling lights.

I also was able to finally get some family pictures. One of the Boys, one of the Girls, and then one with us all. It was a wonderful day.

I am so thankful for our Families and being able to be together now here on the earth with them and for the knowledge that we can all be together Forever. I am also grateful to Jared for making me apart of his life and bringing me into his family. He is such an amazing man, father, and husband. I'm blessed with 2 wonderful, cute kids, to be there mother and to be able to be home with them and to try to teach them and to love them. I am grateful for the Gospel too and the peace, hope, and charity it brings into our lives. I am grateful for my Savior and all he has done for all of us, and for me. There is so much more I am grateful for. We are so blessed.

The Calls come, Yeah!

Ben and Charity came to visit us the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It is always a blessing to see them. The boys had so much fun, even if part of the time they fought. Miley and Hannah also had a great time together.

So we also had Ben try Guitar Hero...he was good at it. Its funny how these boys who play the Cello in high school so they can later play Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

We also had fun doing the Wii Fit. Ben and Charity always try and break all of our records when they come to visit.

Thanks for coming and visiting and for the Cafe Rio food too. After Jared was done with work on Wednesday we ate Cafe Rio food and then said goodbye and got on the road for Jared's parents for Thanksgiving and my birthday.

Friday November 21. So the Weekend before Thanksgiving my Mom and Sister in law and her daughter came to visit. It was great to see them. I haven't seen my mom since Miley was just born and I hadn't seen Megan or Sephy since last year. They drove all night to see us so while the girls napped Nate and Sephy played outside while Miley watched from inside in her Bumbo.

We also got my Mom and Megan to try our Guitar Hero and then later we started a band for Rock band together. It was a lot of fun. The kids even got into it with us.

Saturday 22. After hanging out at our house Mom and Megan really wanted to do something down town, so we looked on line to see what we could do for free. The MGM Grand had a lion show that we decided to go and see and then we were going to walk to the Bellagio to watch the fountain show. As we left the house I turned to moms jeep and meant to give the "Rock on" hand signal to them, because before we left we were playing Rock band, well being the Nerd that I am this is the hang gesture I gave...

So then the joke was to do this to each other and say, 'Rock on'. Jared wouldn't do it with us but all of us girls had fun making fun of me.

Vegas sure has changed since Jared and I came on our Honeymoon, not for the good. Besides the smoke that you could part with your hands and the immodestly dressed women the lions were cool to see.

Then walking over to the Bellagio I saw so many of the creepy pass along cards and billboards that it was hard to enjoy the lights and buildings. I had to pick up Nate and put him on my back so that he wouldn't pick up the cards. The fountain show was wonderful and beautiful. It reminded me of Jared and I watching them on our Honeymoon and of the times Weber State VB would have camps down here and at night we would watch show after show.

Sunday 23. After going to church we decided to go and take a walk to our small park in our neighborhood and then to the big park behind our house.

What a good Daddy, playing with his little girl. Jared can get Miley to giggle and giggle, it is so cute. She loves it when he gets home from work, and demands his attention, he is good to give it to her.

Monday 24. The kids had fun playing together while watching cartoons. Mom and Megan packed up and they all headed for home around 11:00am. It was so good to see them all. Megan has now left for the Navy so we don't know when we will see her again. Sephy is staying with my mom and dad. Thanks for coming out to see us. Good luck Megan.
