The Baby Shower!

I had a wonderful time yesterday night at a baby shower some great friends had for me and our little Miley, that is if she still is a girl. So thank you Heather and Robin for throwing it for me and thank you all that came and made it a great, and fun night. We had great food and played a fun game. It was called What is Rena's Baby made of??? We had 35 statements listed that could represent some part of a baby's body, and you could only use the body part once. Here are some of them...see if you can figure them out. Later maybe I'll post the answers for you.
1. Box to keep tools in
2. Grown on a cornstalk
3. A type of Macaroni
4. A school child
5. Part of an apple
6. Used by carpenters
7. Weapons of war
8. Part of a clock
9. A type of orange
10. Part of a shoe
11. Place of worship
12. Weathercock
13. A clam
14. A saloon or cheap restaurant
15. Sometimes they buckle
Those were some of the questions asked. It was quite a cleaver game. I only got 23/35 so I didn't win, but I still got to go home with all the other gifts so all in all I'd say I won big time.
Here are the cute things I received...Miley will be so cute. I can't wait.
I'm so excited to have a little girl, and if she is a he,
heaven forbid he will be the prettiest little boy in town.
Nate is stoked too, he is such a big helper to me and I know he'll be a great big brother.

Thanks again to all who made last night wonderful, and for helping us in being prepared for this wonderful occasion. Love the Demings.

Mario Cart Fun

We are once again enjoying our Wii as a family. Nate bugs me all day long asking when daddy is going to get home so he can play the Wii. I've tried to convince him that we can play during the day just him and I, but he wont do it without his daddy. Its just not the same, he told me.

They are so cute together. I'm so lucking to have them both in my life. Now all I need is a little girl to balance us out in numbers.

The Mohawk

So as you can see the Grandma's win. Every time they can out here to visit us, they hint, hinted to me that I should let Nate's hair grow out some to see how it would look. Well there you go....Nate with a Mohawk in the bath tub. He thought it was pretty cool. I just think he is goofy.

The Girls Visit!

We had a lot of fun with Mom and the Girls this last weekend. They all came out to Cali and hung out with us and then got us all set up for our little girl to come into this world. Here is some of the things we did. We played with Nates trains. We went to breakfast at our favorite resterant, we went to Santa Cruz to the Board walk and had fun on the rides and at the beach. We played the Wii, and went on a walk. We went to Gilroy and shopped for baby stuff, wow it is so fun to pick out cute little girl clothes. And we just hung out. Nate had a blast, and so did we.

Thank you for the fun and all the cute girl things. We love you all.

The Calls come to call....

Ben, Charity, Stewart and Hannah came and visited us this weekend. Ben had a conference in Monterey during the week, so on Friday we were able to have them come and stay with us over the night and to hang out. This was the first time we have seen them since Hannah was born, she is such a happy little girl and so cute. Stew has grown up quite a bit too. Nate was so excited to have them come over that he bugged me none stop, asking me over and over when they were going to come. I guess Stew had some of the same anticipation problems, he kept trying to leave the Hotel and get in their car to come. Kids are so funny.
Here is sweet little Hannah, with her Christmas gift. It was making her quite happy as you can see.
Okay, okay I know what you are thinking...Nate is huge. Well on Stew defence, Nate is 18ish months older then Stew and he came from 2 giant parents, where Stew came from 2 smaller parents. They are cute though.
See look at their Dads.
Hannah and mommy.
Saturday morning we went to our favorite breakfast joint called Firsh Awakenings. It is so good, and I mean SO GOOD. Rachel Ray from 40 Dollars a Day, on the food network, actually went to the one in Monterey, we are luck that the other one is in Salinas. It is always packed but defiantly worth the wait.
SO GOOD!
Nate and Stew loved there Mickey Mouse Pancakes too.
Later that day Ben read the boys a story, trying to get them to calm down and maybe take a rest....well lets just say it put the big boys out.
While the little ones wiggled on them.
See Hannah didn't need a nap. She was as happy as can be. After nap time we said goodbye and sent the Calls on there 6 hour drive back home. Such good memories, and we all had such a great time. Thanks again for coming, and spending time with us. We love you all.

Nate's wonderland!

Nate has quite an imagination. This is one of cities he constructed in his room...you should hear him explain what they are all doing, its so funny. When dad got home he wanted him to come in and see it, but in the process he crashed his Lego tower and was really sad. Dad of course came to the rescue and helped him build it back up. This is them after they got the city back up and functional. Wow my super hero's.
