Steph and Sydney's Visit

My amazing friend and her daughter came out to visit us while her husband is deployed to have some fun, and to get away from all the cold weather in Utah. They arrived Thursday night right after Jared got home from work.
My Camera broke when mom and dad were here to visit, but luckily Steph took some pictures so we could remember the fun with them. Friday we went to the mall and had some "fun" in the Disney store and JC Penny's. We watched Avitar while they were here for the first time. We also watched Sherlock Homes. Both were good. Avitar bugged me a little with the body parts showing, I really liked the story and the graphics.

Saturday we went to Nate's t-ball game. He did a really good job. He is getting better each time. It is fun to see him improve and to see him having a good time.

Then after we went on a hike at Calico Basin. It is a fun little hike that is perfect for small kids.

The weather was beautiful for us too. So warm and nice, but not to hot.

Sometimes I wonder why I take pictures like this...I always look funny and or fat...oh well.

We got to see some birds, ground hogs, and lizards too.

It has a natural spring too. Hence the green areas.

Miley deiced she wanted to walk too.
Such a little cutie.

The kids also had a good time in the backyard. They enjoyed taking turns pushing on another around in the wagon, Sydney did want to tell everyone when they should get in it so she could push them...it was quit entertaining.

Sunday was crazy as usual. I had to go to some visits with my Laural President before church. Then we went to church and then soon after Jared volunteered to watch the kids so that Steph and I could go to the Bishop's Fireside that the Mia Maids were in charge of. It was such an amazing fireside too. I wish Jared could have gone to it too.

Monday morning the kids played and had a good time together while Steph and I worked on some Cricut stuff. Then Tuesday we finished most of our projects and then took Steph and Sydney to the airport. We had a great time with them.
Monday the next week we did get to see them for a sec. After there trip to Arizona, we picked them up at the airport and brought them back to drive the rest of the way home. Thanks for coming and hanging out with us. We hope you had a great time. We love you and pray for Justin continually.

Easter Good TImes

Sean, Julie (my auntie) and their kids and Julia their foreign exchange student came down the Saturday before Easter and had breakfast with us. It was so awesome to see them all and Nate and Miley loved playing with each of them. It was so beautiful too, a little windy, but really nice especially for the Popa's who have been dealing with snow and cold still.
Alexis and Miley out in Nate's wagon in the backyard.
Stockton, Julie and Jacquelynn (who didn't feel good, her ears were really hurting her poor girl).

Julia, Danielle (who is my other uncle and aunts youngest and came to have fun) and Shanae.

Jared (my man) and Sean (Julie's hubby)
Nate and Stockton had a great time playing with Star Wars guys in Nate's room. We all had a great time. Thanks so much for coming and playing.
Easter

Easter morning was a lot of fun. We have late Church so we had plenty of time to have an Easter egg hunt with the kids. I told Nate that he had to go slow so that Miley would be able to get enough eggs too. Well come to find out she got a hang of it fast and was collecting eggs at an incredible rate, so I had to then let Nate know that he could go much faster.

The baskets got so full and heavy that Daddy had to hold them both for the kids in the end.

I love having my family, they make me so happy. We are so blessed.

Church was really wonderful too, it was so nice to reflect on Christ and the things that occurred in his life. How He suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, and on the cross for each of us, and then how he was Resurrected 3 days after so that we too can be resurrected. What a miracle.

Then Monday for Family Home Evening, we decorated eggs with the kids. It was so much fun. Miley was really into putting a ton of stickers on each egg, and Nate was enjoying doing a little of everything, stickers, crayon decoration, and multi coloring the eggs. Jared and I just had fun helping them.

Here is Daddy's Orange Egg, it is very Special and important.
And here is Nate's lovely play dough creations. He is so cute.

Nate on Nerd Day at his School.

Tuesday Nate got to dress up for school like a nerd. I tried to do my best to help him look like a Nerd. This is what we came up with. He asked me if when he got home if he could please get dressed like a normal boy, instead of like a nerd. How cute.

We did quite the hair due for him. What a cute little nerd.

Here is a picture of me after I got my hair cut and before I left for the big fun! Ouch. I really like the new due.

My Young Women!

I love my Young Women.
I'm really enjoying being a part of the Young Women in our new Ward. I truly love each one of them. I am really busy, but they make it all worth my time as I see them succeed and grow. I am really blessed.

I also love my two wonderful children. Lately they love to watch cartoons, or movies together. It is such a blessing. They are amazing, and keep me laughing, loving, and learning.
