Day 2 in Logan, Swimming and Hanging out.

2nd of July

Grandpa fixed us breakfast this morning. It was wonderful, we had walnut pancakes, bacon, home made syrup, and milk. All fresh and delicious. Then we hung out and had some fun, while we waited for Julie and her kids to come so we could go to the aquatic center and go swimming.

We had a great time at the pools. It was perfect weather at first.

Stockton and Julie

Miley enjoyed the water too, but Nate loved it. He kept attacking Stockton and the other girls, so I had to keep my eyes on him to make sure he didn't drowned anyone. As you can see we played in the kiddy pool almost the whole time, it was nice and warm. I felt like a crab crawling around in the water.

Here is Tina and Amanda.
Blake, Tina, and there other kids, besides Amanda came latter then all of us. It was good having them.

Blake and Nichole didn't get in the water though.

Jared and Nate went down the water slide together. Nate went down first, he doesn't know how to swim and they don't let people wear their life jacket down the slides. Well I was at the bottom so I could take a picture of them as they came down the slide. Nate went down first, and the life guard wasn't paying very close attention. Well Nate came out and went under the water, and he wasn't coming up. I could see his arms, waving around. I was like Hello life guard, are you going to get my son or do I need to dive in with my camera and save him before he drowns. I don't know how long it took for it to register to the guard, probably not as long as it felt to me, a panicking mother. She finally did help him up and out of the water. Then Jared came down the slide next. Well next time when Nate went with Julie, down the water slide, I found out you can tell the life guard up above to signal the one below to catch the kid, instead of letting him enjoy the experience of drowning.

Here is Nate playing with his great aunt Tina. Doing a little dance.

Here is Alexis, Miley (not so happy because she wanted mom to pick her up), Julie (my aunt), Nate and Jacqueline in the big kiddy pool.
Shanne, Tyler, and Dani.

The weather after the first hour wasn't so sunny. The clouds came rolling in and the temperature decreased. It wasn't bad as long as you stayed in the kid pool under the warm water, other wise it was cold. Of course I am getting use to the hot weather in Vegas so it seemed really cold to me.

Here is Julie going up with Nate and her kids to go down the slide on more time.

Here is a little photo manipulation on my part.

Julie and her girls really didn't get to go down the slide together...I just put them like that.

Here is some of the gang hanging out at the picnic table munching on some goodies.

We had a lot of fun, I would really like to go back sometime with everyone again. Hopefully my mom will feel good next time so she can come too with Sephy.

After wards at Grandma and Grandpa's house Miley played with the baby stroller and baby for a long time. She really liked pushing it around, and when she ran into something she would go to the baby and pat it to make sure it was OK, then she would go crazy with the stroller again. It was really cute.

Blake and Tina picked up pizza's for everyone and some drinks, and we ate together and hung out.

The kids went down stairs to the theater room and played giant Lego Star Wars together. They had a lot of fun taking turns.

We also hung outside in the cool night air and talked and just hung out together. I really love hanging out with my family. They are a ton of fun.
Jared, Tyler, and Sean

Grandpa (on the little kid bench) Grandma, Dani, Tina, and Shanne.

We all said goodbye and Sean set up golf for Jared and Tyler. I'm a little jealous, but I'm glad Jared gets to have fun with the guys.

It was a good day, thanks everyone.

Up to Logan we Go!

July 1st
We headed up to Logan after spending the night at Mom and Dad's. We got to my grandparents house late morning. It was so good to see them. Grandma took us out to eat at Wingers, one of my favorite restaurants. It was so good. I love their sticky fingers. Then when we were done my dad called and said he was awake so we headed over to his place to see him before he had to go to work that night.

It was great seeing him, I wish we could have seen Susan too but she was at work.

Jared took a little nap, he was tired since we had gotten to his parents late the night before and got up early this morning to get up her to Logan as soon as we could.
The kids love the toys at Dad's place too. Miley fell in love with this car. She wouldn't even let Nate play in it even though he brought it up. He was a good sport though and was her gas attendant. He is a good brother. Miley really needed a nap so we only got to hang out for a couple of hours, but it is always good to see Dad.

We had a great dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, and Amanda (who is living there while she goes to USU). Then we went to a new park called Ryan's Place. It was made in memory of a little boy that drowned. It was designed by kids and it was a really cool park.

Nate had a great time playing there....Miley didn't because her mom is a ditz and forgot to get her shoes when we left the house and so I had to hold her. She wanted to get down and play, but there was wood chips and I didn't want her to get hurt or slivers.

Jared playing with Nate.

Miley love going down the slide by her self. Thank goodness this was a mellow slide so she could go down by her self. And she did over and over and over again.

Nate made some friends while we were there too. He always goes around asking the kids if they will play with him till he finds someone who says they will and then they have a great time together. Miley did like playing on the bench with her Great Grandma.

We played for quite a while, then it looked like it was going to rain on us if we stayed much longer so we gathered up and left. Grandma then treated us to Ice Cream form Cold Stone. It was so good. She really spoiled us. We had a great time hanging out with her. Thanks so much Grandma. We also got to play Halo after everyone went to bed. We did it on my Grandpas projected screen. It's like 7x12 so each of our playing area was like 31/2 x12. It was intense and fun. I love playing with my amazing Hubby. He is the Best.
